• J-XED Glass – The EP-5 GENII 5-25x56 FFP has been built with clarity in mind, which is why we use Japanese Extremely Extra-Low Dispersion (J-XED) glass. This is a direct improvement that offers the user more detail at distance by reducing chromatic aberration compared to the previous Japanese Extra-Low Dispersion (J-ED) glass.
• Optimized Eye Box – Maximum Forgiveness for Unnatural Positions: We've increased the eye relief to 3.5 inches, expanding the eye box for greater comfort and speed. This upgrade gives you the visual slack you need when you're forced into awkward, off-axis shooting positions over barricades or packs.
• Field-Flattening Optical Design – Razor-Sharp Edge-to-Edge: We've re-engineered the optical path, extending the tube length to 15.6 inches and refining the FOV to 24.02-4.71 ft. This is the game-changer. It flattens the image field, eliminating the blurry edges (field curvature) that plague other scopes. Now, even targets at the very periphery of your view are tack-sharp, allowing you to engage without re-centering your rifle – a critical advantage in positional PRS stages.
