In 1528, Sir Thomas More produced 'A Dialogue Concerning Heresies' that asserted that the Catholic Church was the one true church, whose authority had been established by Christ and the Apostles, and that its traditions and practices were valid. In 1531, William Tyndale published An Answer unto Sir Thomas More€s Dialogue in response.
