Amerex B500 Fire Extinguisher, 5 lb. ABC Dry Chemical

Amerex B500 Fire Extinguisher, 5 lb. ABC Dry Chemical

• MULTI-CLASS ABC PROTECTION: UL and ULC rated 2A:10B:C, so one extinguisher covers Class A wood, paper and trash fires, Class B gasoline, oil and grease fires, and Class C live electrical equipment fires - the three kinds most likely to start at home.
• WHERE YOU NEED IT MOST: The compact 5 lb size fits a kitchen cabinet, under the sink, the garage, workshop, laundry room, RV, boat, truck or car trunk, and its 2A:10B:C rating meets the minimum many landlords, offices and rental codes ask for.
• ALL-METAL, RECHARGEABLE BUILD: An aluminum valve, steel cylinder and metal trigger resist the slow pressure leaks that ruin cheap plastic-valve units, and a certified shop can recharge this one after use instead of you replacing it.
• FAST, CONFIDENT OPERATION: A 14-second discharge and 12 to 18 foot range let you stay back from the flames, while the easy-to-read color-coded pressure gauge and retained pull pin mean anyone in the house can check it and use it under stress.
• MOUNTS IN MINUTES, BACKED 6 YEARS: Includes a wall bracket that keeps it visible and within reach - mounting screws are not included, so add drywall anchors - plus a 6-year manufacturer warranty and Amerex build quality that fire pros trust.
