• KEEP IT THAT WAY: Wipe clean with a damp, soapy cloth and dry it immediately with a towel. Do not immerse it or let water stand on the surface, which can cause warping and cracking. Apply food-grade mineral oil or a beeswax butcher block finish every few weeks, or whenever the wood starts to look dry.
