• 8 IN. DEEP - BOTTLES, BOXES AND TOOLS: Deep enough for a full detergent jug, a coffee station or workshop supplies. Not deep enough for a microwave, which needs 14 in. or more of depth - choose a deeper size in this family if that is the job.
• HOLDS 150 LB INTO STUDS: 18-gauge 430 stainless steel with welded corners. Rated capacity is for the shelf mounted into wall studs and evenly loaded - fix the brackets to studs, not to plasterboard alone. Hand-tighten the nuts onto the welded studs; do not overtighten.
• 430 STAINLESS - AND YES, A MAGNET STICKS: A magnet will stick to it: 430 is a ferritic stainless grade, so that is normal and does not mean it is not stainless. It is rust resistant and easy to wipe down, for indoor use.
• 1 IN. BACKSPLASH AND BULLNOSE EDGE: A raised 1 in. rear backsplash stops items sliding off behind the shelf, and the rounded bullnose front edge is smooth to work around and simple to clean.
• BRACKETS AND HARDWARE INCLUDED: Ships with mounting brackets and installation hardware. In use for laundry detergent and softener bottles, a coffee station, oils and mixing bowls in the kitchen, cleaning supplies over a garage or utility sink, and tools and spray cans in a workshop.
