These clarinets have the tonal quality of a clarinet. Our alto instruments are 18-24" and are slightly longer than soprano - please ensure hand stretch for this length. Simple care: every few months oil the bore (almond, walnut, untreated linseed or mineral oil), ensure no extreme temperature variations, and store inside a piece of thick fabric 3 month warranty for exchange (excludes mistreatment of accident).
