Product Description
Bernina Bresaola by Alma Gourmet – Air-Dried Cured Beef, Product of Uruguay, Whole Piece (2.4–3 lb)
- PREMIUM AIR-DRIED CURED BEEF: Bernina Bresaola Punta d’Anca is made from carefully selected beef and slowly cured for a minimum of 85 days, developing a deep burgundy-red color, firm texture and refined, lightly spiced flavor.
- LEAN, DELICATE FLAVOR: This dry-cured beef offers a clean aroma, mild sweetness and subtle notes of garlic, pepper, nutmeg and selected spices. A sophisticated alternative to richer cured meats such as salami and prosciutto.
- CLASSIC ITALIAN-STYLE SERVING: Slice the bresaola paper-thin and serve chilled with arugula, lemon, Parmigiano Reggiano, extra virgin olive oil and black pepper. Do not cook; add to warm dishes only after removing them from the heat.
- VERSATILE FOR EVERYDAY ENTERTAINING: An elegant addition to charcuterie boards, antipasto platters, salads, sandwiches and appetizers. Pairs beautifully with pears, melon, figs, avocado, mozzarella, citrus, crusty bread and mixed greens.
- VARIABLE-WEIGHT VACUUM-SEALED PACKAGE: Each refrigerated package contains approximately 2.4–3 lb of Bresaola Punta d’Anca. Made with beef, salt, dextrose, spices, garlic, sodium nitrite and potassium nitrate. Product of Uruguay.
Bresaola Punta D'Anca. Price per 3 lbs approx. Bresaola Punta D'Anca is a delicious cured beef. Prime rump (anca) of beef is marinated in mountain herbs and red wine. Careful preparation and meticulous seasoning produces a deep red color with a delicate sweet taste. Our breasaola, mastered by the northern Italian norcino, is now available from Uruguay. Sliced very thinly, Bresaola makes a great addition to a plate of antipasti accompanied by some prosciutto and salami. It is also an ideal lunch time snack with slivers of parmigiano, lemon juice and fresh bread. Try cutting it into strips in a salad with some fresh figs or buffalo mozzarella - or arugola which is my personal favorite.
