The circuit breaker-protected outlets are rated at 15 amps, which is equivalent to 1800 watts at 120 volts.

Install the Alesis PowerTrip 8 in the top of your rack and use the eight switched AC outlets on the rear panel to power all of your equipment, up to a full 15-amp load. The line voltage monitor displays incoming voltage, and the two slide-out, swiveling light fixtures provide illumination of your gear, adjustable via the front-panel dimmer control.

The PowerTrip 8 supports 8 grounded AC jacks on its rear panel, activated via a large lit power switch on the front panel. The PowerTrip 8 offers superb surge and transient suppression, so all power outputs are clean and noise-free.

The unit features a large front-panel LED display that shows current AC line voltage for informed power management. Also on the front panel, the PowerTrip 8 contains two pull-out light bars that have their own separate on/off switch and dimmer-control knob.

Front Panel Features

Rack Lights Switch â€“ turns the pull-out rack lights ON or OFF.

Rack Lights Dimmer Knob â€“ varies the brightness of the pull-out rack lights.

Pull-out Rack Lights â€“ can be pulled out and aimed to illuminate the rest of the gear in your rack.

AC Voltage Display â€“ displays current line voltage being delivered to the eight AC power jacks on the rear of the unit.

Surge Protection Switch â€“ switch will pop out if there is a power surge large enough to activate it. Turn the REAR POWER switch off, then press the RESET switch back in. Turn the REAR POWER switch back on to resume operation.

Rear Power Switch â€“ turns the eight rear-panel AC power jacks ON and OFF.

Rear Panel Features

AC Input Cable â€“ delivers power to your PowerTrip 8.

AC Power Jacks â€“ These provide power for up to eight 110V devices. The four right-most jacks are spaced so as to allow for â€œwall-wartâ€ power supplies. All eight jacks are circuit breaker-protected, high-voltage and transient-suppressed, and filtered to prevent RFI/EMI interference.
