On average our filters last 100 hours but we advise to change every second week for hygienic reasons. |PROTECTION| Equipped with advanced electrostatic microfiber and active carbon filtration technology, the Urban Air Mask protects against the following particles: AIR POLLUTANTS: The Urban Air Mask is KN95 certified and approved according to the KF94 standards, similar to the American N95 and European FFP2 certifications. KN95 is an industry standard and means that the mask provides the intended efficiency of filtering 95% of particles with a mass median diameter of 0.3 micrometers. Therefore, our mask can protect you well from PM10, PM2.5, and even smaller particles. POLLEN & ALLERGENS: The Urban Air Mask can protect you from pollen and animal allergens. Our filter has an efficiency of above 95% at 0,3 μm particle size, whereas normal pollen particles are about 10-1000 μm in size and normal animal allergens about 5-10 μm. BACTERIA: The Urban Air Mask can help reduce exposure to biological substances, such as bacteria and viruses. Please note however that wearing a mask cannot eliminate the risk of infection as it depends on the proper fit of the wearer.
