Product Description

Adygil Round Sinker Mold with 7 Cavities and 1/4, 1/2, 1, 2, 3, 4, 6-Ounce, Without Handle

  • Seven Cavity Design: This round sinker mold features 7 different cavity sizes including 1/4, 1/2, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6-ounce options, allowing you to create multiple sinker weights in a single mold for versatile fishing applications and various water conditions
  • Efficient Sinker Production: Designed for easy casting of round fishing sinkers without handles, this mold enables quick production of lead weights by simply pouring molten lead at 650 degrees into the cavities and allowing 10 seconds for cooling before removal
  • Customizable Wire Insertion: The mold accommodates coat hanger wire placement for creating sinkers with center holes when needed, providing flexibility to produce both solid sinkers and those with wire loops for easy line attachment
  • Durable Construction: Built to withstand repeated heating and cooling cycles, this mold should be preheated before use for optimal results and can produce consistent, professional-quality round sinkers for your fishing tackle needs
  • Safety Considerations: Requires proper protective equipment and careful handling during use as lead melts at high temperatures, and the mold must be kept completely dry to prevent dangerous reactions with molten lead during the casting process

Round Sinker Mold With 7 Cavities and 1/4,1/2,1,2,3,4,6-Ounce How to make sinkers: 1. Ensure you are wearing protective clothing and all care must be taken when heating and pouring lead. 2. Put scrap lead into saucepan and heat until molten (lead will normally melt at 650 degrees). 3. Once lead is molten use a cooking spoon to take away any impurities that have risen to the top. 4. Take your coat hanger wire (wire is only used when making sinkers that require a hole in the centre) and place within the mould. 5. Using the tongs grab tour mould carefully and have the pouring cavity facing you. 6. Pour molten lead into mould until cavity is full. 7. It is recommended the mould be preheated before use. 8. Once mould has been heated up and your lesd is fully molten and clean you can proceed to pour the lead in to the cavity. 9. Wait 10 seconds and using pliers pull wire out then proceed to open mould. 10. Using your pliers snip the excess lead of the top of the sinkers. 11. Good luck and remember to always take care. 12.When disposing of unwanted lead please take note of your local authority about appropriate methods. Warning: 1. Lead is a toxic material 2. Use PPE when handing moulds 3. Use dry moulds as water can cause molten lead to explode
