• DESCRIPTION - Loose berms, choppy trails, and rugged rock gardens stand no chance against the Basanite. The Basanite is designed as a rear tire with ramped knobs for improved speed that alternate in shape and size for braking control. Alternating shoulder lugs and central knobs provide grip at any angle. And the large knobs all include hatch marks, or cupped profiles, improving grip on harder-packed terrain.

• WIDTHS – American Classic’s mountain bike tire widths meet current global standards set by E.T.R.T.O. following their designated design size rim widths. 2.25in (57mm) tires are designed for rims with 25mm internal widths while 2.4in (61mm) and 2.5in (64mm) tires are designed for 30mm internal width rims. The use of narrower or wider rims will change the overall width of the tire.
