A29 Cast Iron Rim Lock Heavy Duty, Weather and Rust Resistant, Manual Latch for French & Screen Doors, Easy Install Hardware Included - Black Powder Coat Finish, Compact Size, 3.4 x 2.0", 1.4" Backset

• DURABLE IRON CONSTRUCTION & WEATHER RESISTANCE: Crafted from solid cast iron, this rim lock features a black powder-coated finish that resists wear and corrosion. It is ideal for light outdoor exposure, providing a sturdy, maintenance-free historic touch to your home.
• VERSATILE USE FOR INTERIOR & EXTERIOR DOORS: Perfect for narrow French doors, screen doors, and various interior entries. While suited for light-duty exterior applications, this versatile 1.4" backset lock is best for adding character rather than heavy security.
• FUNCTIONAL LATCH MECHANISM & SECURITY DETAILS: This manual rim latch includes two skeleton keys and a keyhole escutcheon for basic privacy and traditional charm. It provides reliable light-duty security, though it is not intended to replace a high-security deadbolt.
• EASY DIY INSTALLATION WITH BASIC TOOLS: Install quickly using a drill and screwdriver. For best results on wooden surfaces, drill pilot holes and add a drop of oil to screw tips. Avoid over-tightening to ensure a secure, professional fit.
• COMPLETE HARDWARE INCLUDED: Your package includes the rim lock, two skeleton keys, a keyhole escutcheon, and mounting hardware (with one extra screw). Please note that porcelain knobs are sold separately to allow for your custom style.
