- 5mm through-hole LED for projects and panel indicators - 10 Red 5mm through-hole LEDs in industry-standard form factor that fit standard 5mm LED holders, bezels, and panel cutouts — suitable for microcontroller projects, panel indicators, gauge cluster work, and electronics prototyping
- Red 620-630nm emission at 11,000-13,000 mcd - Pre-wired 5mm round-top LED emits red light at 620-630nm wavelength with 11,000-13,000 mcd luminous intensity through a clear lens. Drive current is regulated to approximately 20mA across the 7-9V input range by the integrated current-limiting resistor.
- 5mm radial through-hole package with 6 inch leads - Industry-standard 5mm round-top body fits standard panel-mount LED holders, bezels, and 5mm chassis grommets. Ships with 15cm (~6 inch) tinned-end leads ready for soldering, screw-terminal connection, or insertion into crimp connectors. Narrow 20-30 degree viewing angle.
- Pre-wired construction - Operates directly from a regulated DC source within the 7-9V range. The built-in current-limiting resistor sets drive current to ~20mA across the input range. Standard 6 inch (15cm) tinned-end leads connect to battery packs, DC adapters, or screw terminals. Compatible with model-railroad DCC (Digital Command Control) track power when fed through a function decoder output.
- Red applications - Suited for scale-model brake and taillight reproductions, instrument cluster and gauge panel pip lighting, structure and signal lighting on HO and N scale model railroad layouts (DCC or analog DC), halloween prop eye glow effects, and panel indicator service in low-voltage 7-9V DC equipment.
Our pre-wired LEDs are nothing but quality. The 9v 5mm red led puts out a nice color that is sure the illuminate your product or project. Our 5mm pre-wired leds have built in resistors so that they will work with the voltage that they are rated for. There is no need for you to add any additional resistors. The only thing you need to do is add power ground and they will illuminate. It doesn't get much easier than that.The 5mm pre-wired leds come with a built in resistor, all connections are heat shrinked in order to protect them and there is sufficient wire lead on all of them.This single setup works well with the following voltages (you don't have to select a voltage when ordering): 7v, 8v, and 9v.
