3M H series Tychem QC fabric standard hood assembly with collar and hardhat. This assembly can be used on 3M Belt-Mounted Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR)s and Supplied Air Respirator Systems. This hood offers exceptional comfort and can be worn with facial hair and glasses. Includes two of the 3M hood H-410 and faceshield cover H-110, and one each of the 3M hatshell W-3258, head suspension W-2878, chin strap H-114, and squeeze clamp W-3222. Mission type: aircraft, ships, vehicles. Operation type: facility safety, maintenance, repair and operations, overhaul. Recommended for assembly, machine operations. Recommended for military maintenance, repair and operation (MRO), pharmaceutical industries. Clear visor type. NIOSH approved and offer respiratory protection and superior comfort in the most demanding work environments. They're lightweight and loose-fitting. The unique airflow design helps prevent fogging of the wide-view faceshield. Optional air control devices allow the incoming air to be heated or cooled by as much as 50 degree F. These hoods offer easier breathing and a higher level of respiratory protection than negative pressure half and full face piece respirators. Loose-fitting hoods eliminate the cost and time of fit testing that is required with tight fitting respirators. These hoods can easily be worn with facial hair, prescription eyewear or safety glasses.
