Real World 30

The symbiotic relationship between Peter Gabriel's Real World Records and the WOMAD (World of Music, Arts and Dance) festival -- which he also founded -- was apparent from day one. When the label was born in 1989, it joined its seven-year-old sibling in the vanguard of introducing the world's finest music to our ears.


WOMAD celebrated its 30th anniversary this year, and this 30-track, 2-CD tribute is a celebration of the event itself and the Real World label's artists who've been most closely associated with the legendary, magical event.
