2-Pack 28x40 Large Stretched Canvas 380gsm Cotton for Oil & Acrylic

2-Pack 28x40 Large Stretched Canvas 380gsm Cotton for Oil & Acrylic

• ? 【Designed for Professional Artists & Large-Scale Exhibition Work】2-pack of 28x40" (70x100cm) extra-large format stretched canvases—the largest standard size before custom commission. Ideal for professional artists creating statement pieces for gallery exhibitions, hotel lobbies, corporate collections, and large living room focal walls where a 28x40" canvas commands the space.
• ?【380gsm (13.4oz) Heavy-Duty Cotton – Triple Gesso, Zero Soak-Through】Made from 380gsm (13.4oz) high-density cotton fabric coated with three layers of acid-free gesso. At this scale, the heavy-weight fabric is essential: it resists the paint soak-through and fiber show-through that thinner canvases exhibit on surfaces exceeding 1000 square inches. Supports oil, acrylic, and mixed media.
• ?【2/3" Kiln-Dried Pine Frame – Maintains Tension Across 28x40" Span】Features reinforced 2/3" kiln-dried pine bars. At 28x40" (over 1100 sq in), frame integrity is the #1 failure point: kiln-dried bars resist the twisting and bowing that unstretched wood develops at this span, while the 2/3" thickness prevents center sagging. Gallery-wrap edges for frameless display.
• ?️ 【Fine-Tooth Surface for Impasto, Palette Knife & Detailed Oil/Acrylic Work】The balanced tooth offers the grip needed for impasto techniques and palette knife effects, while remaining smooth enough for fine detail and seamless blending. At 28x40", surface consistency across the entire canvas is critical—our uniform gesso application prevents the texture variations that disrupt large-scale brushwork.
• ✨【Acid-Free Archival Materials – Gallery-Ready for Collector & Commissioned Work】Both canvas and frame use acid-free, archival-safe materials to prevent yellowing and fiber degradation. Suitable for artwork intended for gallery sales, collector purchases, commissioned portraits, and permanent installations where decades of color stability are expected.
