Oldsmobile hired famed engine builder Joe Mondello to find more horsepower for their high performance 442. The result was the incredible 455 V-8. The most powerful engine ever fitted to an Oldsmobile! These 1970 Olds 442 diecast exactly recreate this powerful Oldsmobile! Open the ducted hood to view the unique cold air induction system on the wired and plumbed 370 hp V-8. Notice the Delco battery, washer reservoir, gold brake booster and red inner fender lining unique to W-30 equipped cars. Inside the fanatical interior detailing continues with the console mounted four speed, tilting bucket seats and cloth belts. So authentic the painted steel wheels have removable dog dish hub caps!
