1 Chronicles

If 1 & 2 Kings tell the story of the kings of Israel and Judah from man's point of view, then 1 & 2 Chronicles tell the story of the kings of Israel and Judah from God's point of view. From a literary perspective, 1 & 2 Chronicles form a recapitulation, a revisiting of familiar ground, offering new insights and new lessons.
